Grr!! It deleted the post! ...Anyway, this is Chapter 3. I'm going to post it and Chapter 4 today, then take a break from putting them up until I've written more. I'm just starting Chapter 10, and I want to put some more distance between the two records. Here's Chapter 3!
The sandy floor stretched for what seemed like miles. Unlike what he'd been expecting, there were no doors besides the one they's come through, which looked plain and dusty from this sitde, and no stands. This was more like a training area.
Miyako didn't give him much more time to take it in. He kept his steady pace as he led Daisuke to the middle of the arena. He stopped and said in a deep voice, "Training stage 1. No-spirit. No-claw. Commence."
The sand in front of him started rising and flowing over. A platform slowly rose, the sand falling and rolling over the edge like a waterfall. At last, the open platform stopped. Miyakp stepped onto it, motioning Daisuke to stay back. Glass walls rose to enclose the platform. At a rumbling noise from behind him, Daisuke turned to find himself face to face wiht a big robot. It had two small guns and rolled. It hardly gave him a chance to react. It hit him in the face with a gun, his body bouncing off the glass walls and into the sand. He hurridly got to his feet as a bullet hit the sand where his head has just been. He ran toward the other side faster than he'd ever run before. What is this guy thinking? I'm going to die! Bullets made the sand spray in fierce bursts behind him. Over a loudspeaker, Daisuke heard Miyako say, "It's not over until the robot's down!" Daisuke shouted back, "Uru Sei!" He soon came to the edge of the arena and turned around. It was right behind him. He backed up against the wall as it came closer. It put its gun to his forehead and fired.
Haha! Cliffhanger! Well, not much of one, since the next Chapter will be up too, but still a cliffhanger!
